MOTTO:

To serve the underserved,poor,rural population in distant, remote

and desert areas of Rajasthan.

To help the physicians and surgeons to reach to a particular

diagnosis to treat the poor patients free of cost.

SETUP:

The unit is equipped with a X-ray machine and an ultrasonography

machine each fitted in two separate vans.

X-ray van has full facilities for developing the film.

These vans move from camp to camp.

In off camp days these machines work at city hospital Jaipur.

SERVICES RENDERED:

- X-ray of chest,KUB,Bones,skull,paranasal sinuses.

- Intravenous Pyelography for renal cases to rule out non

functioning kidney before operating for renal stones.

- Ultrasonography for diagnosing –

Pelvic Pathology like-fibroid uterus,ovarian cysts or tumours,

pregnancy,etc.

Lump abdomen like-appendicular lump,pseudopancreatic cysts,

mesenteric cysts,etc.

G.B. stones or malignancy or CBD obstruction.

Renal stones or tumours or other abdominal tumours.

hepatitis,etc.

Medical diseases like-Hepatomegaly,cirrhosis of liver,splenomegaly.

OBJECTIVES:

-To reach to a final diagnosis thus helping surgeons to operate any

case.

-To confirm the functioning of organs like kidney.

BENEFITS TO POOR PEOPLE:

Services are free of cost.

Unit reaches public at their doorsteps for their help.

Patients are in their own surroundings with their relatives.

Some patients are chronically ill and cannot go to distant

static hospitals even to be diagnosed.

Some patients are diagnosed for the first time in camps thus

providing them either treatment or proper guidance as to further

management.
